We began with our new unit of inquiry today: "What's the matter?"
There was a differentiated task as a pre unit assessment: One group had to do a KWHL chart (What I know, What I want to know, How will I learn and What have I learnt), The other group completed sentences (Materials are.. Materials used in the class room are.. etc.) and the last group received a group of words (names of objects). They were asked to categorize these objects keeping in mind the topic of materials.
In math, we solved some more problems pertaining to BODMAS.
In English, we had a quiz on Idioms.
We also practiced for the Grade 5 assembly.
The Elocution competition happened for Grade 5 in the morning. The videos of all the participants have been uploaded:
